The task is to design a landmark for Soldeu that increases the recognition value of the site and creates an additional attraction for the visitors.
We turn the historically important slope AVET at its beginning to a loop, which performs the slope to the existing platform in the south.

The task is to design a landmark for Soldeu that increases the recognition value of the site and creates an additional attraction for the visitors.
We turn the historically important slope AVET at its beginning to a loop, which performs the slope to the existing platform in the south.
The result is a twisting structure, with a tower in the middle, which looks like a DNA strand. This double helix leads to a spectacular viewpoint. In summer there is the possibility to use one of the strands as a slide.
In winter, the building is also accessible for skiers. Guests can reach the viewing plattform with skis directly from the plateau with a lift. From this plattform they can directly reach to the slope AVET.
The World Cup start is integrated into the structure and can be easily activated.
Inside the building there is a bar and lounge with spectacular views, which can be used for VIP guests during the Worldcup, in normal case but also as a cafe / bar for everyone.
The Worldcupstart can be viewed from the platform on the roof of the building as well from the inside rooms.
A running light, which is fixed on the existing lift towers, shows the building in the corporate design color of Grandvalaria from far away.
